Fort Fisher Historic Park Fort
Fisher Historic Park, the last stronghold of the South, is the
largest earthwork fortification of the Civil War. A museum of
artifacts takes you back to when the land was raw. A slide show
tells of the blockade-runners and the role that the Cape Fear River
played in the Battles of Fort Fisher. Also featuring a recreation
area on the Atlantic Ocean with four miles of undeveloped beaches.
Also available is a public beach access with bathrooms, snack bar

Cruise & Party Boats are sure to
attract many a passerby at the Carolina Beach Municipal Marina in

Battleship North Carolina Battleship North Carolina, Wilmington's premier
attraction, this W.W.II vessel is well worth the time that it takes
to tour her. It is a Memorial to North Carolina W.W.II Veterans that
